Wishing all of you a happy holiday season.
For those of you planning on flying in for a visit make note that
the field elevation is not 341 feet but more like 1160 feet which
was recently measured with GPS.
Field elevation for this sign was originally
taken from a topo map. Since then I've been told by a visitor that
some topo maps are read in meters which would explain the roughly
3x difference.
This visitor also reported that his altimeter
read more like 1300 feet. So, I guess it's safe to say 1200-1300
feet is closer to true field elevation.
The sign will soon be corrected so until
then come in high.
