Work continues on the ATV shed
for ATV rental later this Fall. A concern now is will it be big
enough to house two ATV's? The models I planned on buying are no
longer available and the model replacing them for 2006 is bigger.
It seems like a lot of vehicles are getting bigger and bigger these
days.
You ever notice that you can't buy a "small"
truck anymore from any of the truck manufacturers? The choices now
are "full-size" and "mid-size" and yes, these
mid-size models are physically bigger than the traditional small
size.
The same thing happened with jet skis, wave runners,
and jet boats in recent years. These wave runners now hold four
people and are practically the size of a boat!
So to accommodate these "mid-sized"
ATV's, I'm adding another row of blocks in order to clear their
44 inch height. Their width and depth should still be okay.
Remember those tiny little one car garages
that were in the backyard of your parents house? To think they were
actually big enough to hold a car. How times have changed. Our vehicles
just keep getting bigger and bigger.
