Charlotte
Charlotte is 21 and lives in Torrance,
California where she works at the front desk of an FBO in the
Los Angeles basin.
"I've been here almost a year now and I love it,"
says Charlotte. "I didn't know anything about airplanes before
I got the job. The people I work with are so nice and a lot of
pilots have asked to take me flying."
"Have you taken any of the pilots up in their
offers?"
Charlotte's expression turned blank when she
suddenly and inexplicably experienced a blonde moment. "No, they take me. What's an
'Offer?' Is that like a 'Twin Offer?'"
"No, not really. Not unless they have to ask
you twice. What airplanes have pilots flown you in,
Charlotte?"
"One really cute guy took me up in his '150' and a
married guy flew me in his 'Pitts Special.' Then there was this other guy who said
he flew a 'Mile High Special' but I didn't go with him because he
was really old and creepy."
"Good call, Charlotte. He was probably
joking with you. Have you ever heard of the 'Mile High Club?'"
Charlotte thought for a moment..."Is that like a
'Piper Club?"
